Capo Milazzo’s Marine Protected Area, created in 2019, is the youngest one in Italy.
Around the northern tip of the wonderful rocky promontory, the dive sites display a huge biodiversity. The gorgonians, in particular, encrust themselves in-between the irregular rocks, thus creating unique and colorful views.
Furthermore, despite the Marine Protected Area’s young age, barracudas, dentex, sea breams, and groupers are already coming back.
The seat of the Diving Center Blunauta, with whom we collaborate, is on top of a charming stilt house located in an enchanted and peaceful bay. The diving rubberboat being moored right in front a few steps away, the logistics is just tremendously easy!
Finally, don’t miss the night dive here: it will be particularly suggestive thanks also to Mauro’s and his staff’s more than appreciated scientific approach!
