Protected by the Pelagie Islands Marine Protected Area in conjunction with Lampedusa, the island of Linosa does not have much to share with its better-known neighbor. The volcanic nature of its underwater landscapes is immediately evident: dizzying drop-offs and perfectly sculpted columnar basalts make dive sites such as Balata piatta or the famous Secchitella simply unforgettable.
The extremely scarce anthropic pressure allows the sea to boil with life since the first few meters of depth, and the visibility here is definitely one of the craziest in the world. For all these reasons Secchitella is considered as one of the best dive sites in the Mediterranean.
Here we collaborate with Francesca and Giovanni (and Claudia) from Terraferma Diving, good friends and extraordinary people able to offer you a peculiar kind of professional amusement within a simple yet effective organization: perfect island style. Onboard their traditional boat (su)Camilla, you’ll live a unique experience, as it can only happen in truly remote places.
